SAHCO Secures Air Tanzania Ground Handling Contract - By Daisy BARRO

Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO) Plc has been awarded a contract to provide comprehensive ground handling services to Air Tanzania at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, Nigeria. The services will include passenger handling, baggage handling, ramp handling, cargo handling, warehousing, among others. Air Tanzania will operate three times a week from its hub at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam to Lagos.

The Managing Director/CEO of SAHCO, Mrs. Adenike Aboderin, expressed delight in welcoming Air Tanzania to Lagos, stating, "We are honoured they have chosen SAHCO Plc as their trusted ground handling partner. This contract is a testament to our team's expertise, state-of-the-art equipment, and unwavering dedication to operational excellence and safety", she said.

Recently, SAHCO secured an additional ground handling contract with Ethiopian Airlines, further solidifying its position as a prominent aviation ground handling service provider in Nigeria.
