DANA Air Aquires B737-500 Aircraft, Soon To Become IOSA Certified - By Ewos IRORO

Dana Air recently resumed its services to Port Harcourt in a bid to give impetus to its services to customers and win their sustained loyalty. Speaking at during the re-commencement of its Lagos-Port Harcourt and Port Harcourt-Abuja service, the airline’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr. Yvan Drewinsky, said: “We have been doing well in the past few weeks following the recommencement of our flight operations. Our customers have been showing increasing interest and there has been a huge demand by our customers, which has informed the need to bring in these routes. He explained that the inauguration of flight operations to Port Harcourt came on the heels of the recent addition of a B737-500 aircraft to its fleet as well as the successful audit of its entire operations conducted by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) Flight Safety Group in partnership with the airline's foreign partners. EgyptAir Introduces Nonstop Services From Luxor to Paris And London - By Ewos IRORO

In light of the cooperation between the Egyptian Ministries of Civil Aviation and Tourism for the restoration of tourism traffic, EgyptAir plans to begin non-stop flights from Luxor to London and Paris effective February 2014. The airline will commence the services between Luxor and Paris using an Airbus 320/200 configured with 145 seats, while the services between Luxor and London will be operated with a Boeing 737-800 with 160 seats. These services are in addition to the daily non-stop flights to many European cities the airline also operates via its hub in Cairo.
