DiscoveryAir Set To Debut In Nigeria Soon - By Ewos IRORO


A new airline is set to begin operations soon in the country to further boost air transport services and choices to customers. Based in Lagos, DiscoveryAir is a new, dynamic Nigerian airline with a passion for providing superior, comfortable and luxurious services to all its customers. A statement issued by the carrier said: "We are committed to working tirelessly to meet the needs, comfort and safety of the Nigerian populace and Africans at large," adding that: "With Lagos as our hub, we intend to fly to major domestic destinations such as Abuja, Port Harcourt as well as regional destinations." Opting for the Boeing variant of aircraft, DiscoveryAir hopes to offer its customers unrivaled services with a strict policy of on time arrivals and departures. "Our fleet of Boeing B737-300/500 aircraft offers you a safe and comfortable flying experience in our Business and Economy Class cabins," the airline assured.

Arik Air: We Are Resuming Flights to Maiduguri - By Daisy BARRO

  The Management of Arik Air recently revealed that the airline is set to recommence flights from the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja to Maiduguri, effective Monday May 10, 2021. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Arik Air, Captain Roy Illegbodu expressed his delight with the present state of affairs: “We are delighted to introduce our services to Maiduguri, following popular demand by our customers for Arik’s presence in the city.” He went ahead to assure members of the flying public that Arik is committed to their safety, and will ensure their comfort and security as they patronize the airline. For the time being, Arik will operate four weekly flights from Abuja to the Borno State capital – flights which are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
