A cross section of delegates at the Summit The 10th Travel & Business News African Air Transport Safety, Security and Service Summit held on November 18 - 19, 2015 at the Best Western Premier Airport Hotel, Accra, Ghana. The seventh edition of the National Travel Essay Competition (NTEC 2015/2016) recently opened in Lagos. The annual writing competition organised by Travel & Business News is aimed at generating greater awareness for the aviation industry as well as encourage young Nigerians to follow a career in the sector in an effort to ameliorate the problem of aging workforce and skilled manpower shortage. The competition is in two categories and is open to Secondary School Students of all ages as well as Undergraduates of Tertiary Institutions in the country. The topic chosen for the Secondary Schools Category is: "Human Factors In Aviation Safety."  While that for Tertiary Institutions is: "Curbing Internal And External Threats To Aviation Safety." Entries are open from November 5, 2015 to April 29, 2016. Prizes to be won include free tickets to South Africa, Dubai, Ghana and to any destination in Nigeria.
