Ibom Air Flights to Depart from New Terminal from June 14 - By Daisy BARRO
Ibom Air has announced the transfer of all scheduled flight operations to the newly commissioned ultramodern terminal at Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, effective Sunday June 14, 2026. The relocation applies to all departures, arrivals, check-in, and boarding activities currently managed from the existing facility.
According to the airline, the new facility incorporates upgraded amenities intended to enhance traveler comfort while streamlining ground handling processes from check-in through boarding to post-flight arrival. The carrier stated that the transition aligns with its service delivery objectives and reflects continued investment in airport infrastructure to support on-time performance and customer experience metrics.
Ibom Air advises passengers with bookings on or after June 14, 2026 to proceed directly to the new terminal for all flight-related activities, emphasizing that the move represents “another significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to enhance air travel and deliver world-class service to passengers.”
Designed to improve passenger throughput and operational reliability, Victor Attah International Airport serves as Ibom Air’s primary operating base and hub. The terminal upgrade is expected to reduce congestion, improve baggage handling efficiency, and support the carrier’s expanding domestic network. Stakeholders in air transport operations will monitor the facility’s impact on turnaround times and apron management as the carrier consolidates operations at the upgraded terminal.
