Flying Colours Corp., a global aviation services company, a privately owned and operated aviation services company that has been operating since 1989, has kicked off construction work at its Head Office in Canada on December 13, 2018.

The North American Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul and Completions business recently flagged off building its largest hanger till date being executed by Industrial Construction Limited which braved the cool Ontario weather to officially commence with the fourth phase of the Company’s expansion plans at the Canada-headquartered business company.

Speaking on the expansion, Mr. John Gillespie, President & CEO of Flying Colours, said: ““Our business has grown significantly over the last twelve months and we were running out of space to accommodate all our clients’ requests. Once the building is complete we will be using it to provide additional capacity for completions, refurbishment and heavy maintenance work scopes on large jet airframes.”

Also, a fifth hangar (a leased building) at the company’s Chesterfield, St. Louis facility, is currently being prepared to open for business in January 2019, which will add another 40, 000 square feet to the KSUS facility.

Upon completion in mid 2019, the building will feature a climate controlled dedicated paint shop, a large hanger big enough to contain up to A220-size aircraft. It will also contain customer meeting rooms, interiors workshops and a board room with an investment of approximately CAD$25 million thereby adding a further 100,000 square feet to the Peterborough landmark.

Over 100 group members are presently being enlisted across both sites to meet the rising demand with the search for maintenance, interiors and paint professionals topping the recruitment process.
