Didier Evrad Retires At Airbus At 65 As Muhn Takes Charge - By Mary OKWUELUM

Didier Evrad EVP Head of Programmes
for Airbus SE (stock exchange symbol: AIR) retires at 65 years after 41 years
associated with AIRBUS. He is succeeded by Philippe Mhun senior vice president
and Head of Customer Services since 2016.

meticulous programmes management skills and dogged determination that the
A350XWB, affectionately known as mission impossible in its early stages of development,
has today become the wide body of choice for 45 of the world’s leading airlines,
entering service in 2015 at an unmatched level of maturity in our industry”,
said Tom Enders, Airbus Chief Executive Officer.
It is noteworthy that Evrad has
been responsible for all of Airbus’ commercial aircraft programmes since 2015. Prior
to this led the A350XWB programmes from 2007.
Philippe Mhun, the newly
appointed Chief Programmes and Services Officer for Airbus commercial aircraft,
will report to Guillaume faury, who is due to succeed Tom Enders as CEO following
the company’s annual general meeting schedule for 10th April,2019. Mhun
will also become a member of the Airbus Executive Committee.
Before joining Airbus in 2004,
Phillippe Mhun had held various positions with Air France and the former French
Airline UTA between 1986 and 2004. He was also involved in new aircraft
programme entry into service, engineering and maintenance.
Throughout his entire career at Airbus,
Philippe Mhun has focused on delivering the best services to customers across programmes,
supervised the services by airbus unit and affiliated subsidiaries and had
worked in procurement between 2013 and 2016 with the responsibility for equipment,
systems and supports.
Born in 1962, Philippe Mhun is married
with three children and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Applied Sciences
National Institute (INSA) Lyon.
