FAAN Puts Up Great Showing At ACI Regional Conference


The MD/CEO of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Engr Saleh Dunoma welcomes the Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation, Sherif Fathy to the podium of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria at the opening ceremony of ACI Africa Regional Conference and Exhibition holding in Cairo, Egypt from April 10 - 12, 2016. The Authority put up a great show at the event as guests thronged its exhibition stand during the colourful opening ceremony.

  Murtala Muhammed Airport 2 It was with relief that Bi-courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL), the operators of the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2 (MMA2), recently took delivery of new x-ray machines and air conditioners, in line with the Operator’s plan to make MMA2 safer and more comfortable for its clients. In a statement released on Friday by BASL Group’s Corporate Affairs Manager, Mikail Mumuni, it was revealed that the equipment, which was imported from the United States arrived the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) – Lagos on Wednesday night and was then transferred to MMA2. The installation of the x-ray machines and air conditioners already kicked off on Friday - installations which are expected to be completed in the coming week. Skyway Aviation Handling Company (SAHCO) Plc has been awarded a contract to provide comprehensive ground handling services to Air Tanzania at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, Nigeria. The services will include passenger handling, baggage handling, ramp handling, cargo handling, warehousing, among others. Air Tanzania will operate three times a week from its hub at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam to Lagos.
