Dr. Danjuma Ismaila Takes Helm at Nigerian College of Aviation Technology - By Daisy BARRO



President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Dr. Danjuma Adamu Ismaila as the Rector and Chief Executive of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria - a move which is expected to bring expertise and leadership to the institution, given Dr. Ismaila's extensive background in air transportation management, transport economic policy, and aviation security.

Dr. Ismaila's educational qualifications include a degree in Physics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, obtained in 1989. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Transportation, demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Furthermore, he has attended numerous courses, workshops, and seminars on civil aviation management and transportation, staying abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices.

His membership in prestigious professional bodies, such as the Royal Aeronautical Society (UK) and the Air Transport Research Society, further underscores his credentials and expertise in the field of aviation. These affiliations demonstrate his dedication to staying connected with the global aviation community and contributing to the advancement of the industry.

Prior to his appointment, Dr. Ismaila served as a lecturer at the Federal University of Transportation, Daura. His experience in academia has equipped him with the skills to lead and manage educational institutions, while his expertise in aviation-related fields makes him well-suited to lead NCAT.

As the new Rector and Chief Executive of NCAT, Dr. Ismaila is expected to bring his wealth of experience and knowledge to bear on the institution, driving growth, innovation, and excellence in aviation education and training.
