Air Peace, Emirates Seal Interline Deal to Boost Nigerian Travel - By Daisy BARRO
Air Peace, West Africa's largest airline, has signed an interline agreement with Emirates, the world's largest international airline, to expand travel options for passengers traveling to and from Nigeria.
This strategic partnership enables Air Peace to offer seamless connections to its passengers, providing access to Emirates' global network. Passengers flying with Air Peace can now connect to various international destinations via Emirates, with the convenience of a single ticket and streamlined baggage handling.
The agreement also expands Air Peace's domestic reach, allowing Emirates' passengers to connect to 13 additional cities in Nigeria, including Asaba, Akure, Benin City, Calabar, Enugu, Ilorin, Kaduna, and Owerri.
"We are excited about this strategic interline partnership between Air Peace and Emirates, which is a significant step towards enhancing global connectivity for Nigerian travelers. It aligns with our mission to provide seamless, world-class travel experiences while expanding our route network and international reach", said Oluwatoyin Olajide, Chief Operating Officer of Air Peace.
She went on to add that Air Peace' collaboration with Emirates will improve ease of travel, boost business, tourism, and trade opportunities and strengthen economic ties between Nigeria and the UAE: "This partnership also reinforces Nigeria’s aviation sector by enhancing connectivity, efficiency and positioning our country as a critical hub for regional and global travel", she said.

Emirates’ Dubai-Lagos route is operated with a Boeing 777-300ER, while Air Peace operates domestically and internationally via its fleet of aircraft, including Airbus 320s, Boeing 737s, Boeing 777s, Dornier 328-300 Jets, Embraer 145s, and Embraer 195-E2s.
