Transportation: Stakeholders Converge for Talks on Infrastructural Growth - By Daisy BARRO

The transportation sector in Nigeria is set to witness a gathering of experts, professionals, and policymakers at the upcoming JustNet News maiden summit, themed "Nigeria’s Transport Infrastructure: Innovation For A Sustainable Future." Scheduled for October 29, 2025, at the Providence Hotel, GRA, Ikeja, the summit aims to provide a holistic examination of the nation's transport sector, with a particular focus on infrastructure development.

According to Mrs. Pearl Ngwama, Managing Director of JustAlive Communications Limited, the summit's organizers, the event will bring together industry leaders to share knowledge, best practices, and innovative solutions to address the challenges facing Nigeria's transport infrastructure. The forum will cover various transportation modes, including aviation, maritime, waterways, road, and railway industries.

Ngwama emphasized the importance of the transportation sector to the nation's economy, noting that it is a catalyst for development and makes significant contributions to the global economy's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). "This summit will provide a platform for experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to share knowledge, best industry practices and standards, and proffer innovative solutions to address the challenges facing Nigeria's transport infrastructure," she stated.
