Dana Air Rewards Students




Dana Air recently played host to winners of the 5th Bristow Helicopters/Travel & Business News National Travel Essay Competition (NTEC 2013/2014) to reward them with free tickets for their brilliant performance in the contest.

ABOSEDE OGUNKOYA, MOTHER OF WINNER; AND MR. EWOS IRORO, EDITOR, TRAVEL & BUSINESS NEWS.
Those who received the prizes were Miss Tolulope Ogunkoya of International School Lagos (ISL), in the Secondary Schools Category, and Miss Janet Ayandele of the University of Lagos (Unilag) in the Tertiary Institutions Category.
They were welcomed and received at the DANA House by Mr. Sam Ogbogoro, Head, Corporate Communications who congratulated the students for their performance and urged them to keep the flag flying as worthy ambassadors not only of their schools but also of the aviation industry. “We believe in adding value to the lives of the youths and rewarding them in whatever way we can as a means of encouraging them to achieve even more,” Mr. Ogbogoro noted.

Founder and Coordinator of the National Travel Essay Competition (NTEC), Mr. Ewos Iroro thanked Dana Air for its continued support for the initiative since 2009 which is aimed at creating greater awareness for the air transport sector and raising future aviation professionals. He said: “We would like to thank Dana Air for their encouragement so far and we use this opportunity to solicit their sustained and increased support.”   
Also in attendance at the visit were Mr. & Mrs. Olayide & Abosede Ogunkoya, parents of Tolulope who expressed delight and gratitude to Dana Air for their generosity.
