Ryanair Boosts Fleet With Orders For Five More B737-800s

Further to its earlier deal reached in 2013 for 175 aircraft, Ryanair, one of Europe's renowned budget carriers, is adding orders for five more B737-800s. According to the airline, four of the airplanes are planned for delivery in the early summer of 2015 with the fifth due in February 2016.
Michael O'Leary, the carrier’s Chief Executive said: "These new Boeing aircraft enable Ryanair to keep the fleet average age below five years." Powered by CFM56 engines, the agreement means Ryanair is set to acquire a total of twenty one aircraft between September 2014 and July 2015 in a bid to enhance its network for summer 2015.
